Technical Support Specialist

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our products, solutions, target customers and pricing models

  • Respond to all incoming customer service inquiries (email, chat, phone, etc.) in a timely manner.

  • Provide first-class, remote product support that is aligned with our company standards, protocols, and policies.

  • Translate technical information in non-technical terms for verbal and written communication.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix issues related to: connectivity, compatibility, hardware, software, applications and systems integration.

  • Keep detailed notes and record issues in our customer support database for timely management, testing and resolution.

  • Troubleshoot software issues and gather information on the root cause. When a resolution is not found, escalate to appropriate internal teams following defined processes.

  • Host technical trainings and workshops, and provide technical support to our partners, end users and sales teams.

  • Help partners improve their applications and better demonstrate our products with periodic visits and training.

  • Participate in and create demos and configurations for trade shows, industry seminars, preparation, and configuration of various robot types.

  • Collaborate with software, hardware, IT, and customer support teams on product solution optimization based on customer feedback.

  • Stay closely involved with documentation, functional and technical analysis, as well as testing and documenting applications.

What you’ll bring to our team:

  • B.S in Engineering or technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Foundation in Linux operating systems

  • Strong oral communication skills; Ability to relay technical terms in a simple, easy to understand manner

  • Good judgement, problem-solving skills and project management skills

  • Calm and pleasant demeanor; Ability to consistently work well with others

  • Strong command of data, reporting and workflows

  • Effective decision-making qualities

  • Strong command of English language

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally; Must hold valid passport

Bonus points if you have:

  • End-user training experience preferred

  • Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS)

  • Familiarity with programming, PLC control and computer networks
